Pysano running on Linux Mint 22

So it has been a few weeks since I have been able to come up for air and get back to the python stuff. Dam life keeps getting in the way!

So I decided to branch off the coding app from the writing app and rename it Pysano, as in Paesano (peasant) cuz it is meant to be as simple as possible like good paesano cooking!

I was able to add a couple new features to this iteration:

  • You now can create both text and python files vs. the original text only
  • I have added a button to shell out to the console to run your app or whatever.

A couple more things on my todo list so far:

  • Syntax highlighting
  • Copy code to clipboard

Image above is running on Linux Mint 22 (fresh install) but there will be a Windows version eventually (only real diff will be the shell to cmd.exe vs. mate-console.

**UPDATE** Below is Pysano running on Windows 11.

Fun stuff… 🙂
