Back in my Little Debbie’s Oatmeal Cream Pie Days I was a much bigger boy than I am today. Like 235 lbs. of me on a 5’9″ frame.
Thankfully I am back to my petite self, 32 – 33″ waist depending on whether there is popcorn in the house. But I still have some Goodyear Blimp sized jeans left over. One pair in particular I have been trying to figure a purpose for for months.
See the pants are as wide as they are tall so if making a bag out of them what you end up with is something like a ukulele bag, only larger – and floppier. I messed with this pair of jeans for awhile then finally tossed them in the jeans bin until Eureka hits me (or my corner store starts carrying Little Debbie’s Oatmeal Cream Pies).
Then it hit me… Why not use half the pair of pants?
I have been meaning to make a tool tote for awhile so here was the opportunity.
Ta-Da! My Half-Assed Tool Bag! (Also a chance to play with my new Pop-Rivet Gun…)
And now I am off to make some popcorn…
