We see ‘list’ memes all the time on social media, most likely started so some data wonk can grab a bunch of data for a large group of people. They can be fun, but the questions definitely have a slant, and usually after posting your responses you will see your feed filled with a certain type of advertising related to the meme you just shared.
Being a bit of a ‘freeform’ person (aka a wee bit scatterbrained) here is my own list of trivial things about me. Not sure if the list were scraped by some data wonk they would have much luck pairing me with a new pair of Nikes. 😛
10 Trivial Things About Me:
- Even though I am 100% left handed I can only run my mouse or create digital art with my right hand.
- People tell me my voice sounds much younger than I am.
- My favourite way to travel is by rail.
- I may be a ‘progressive’ but I am not a ‘leftist / socialist’.
- I like to repurpose ‘things’ that are further from end of life than people think.
- Even though I am Canadian, hockey is not my favourite sport (hint: Go Blue Jays!).
- I don’t watch a lot of TV but when I do it will most likely be an episode of ‘Shetland’, ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ or the British version of ‘Escape To The Country’ (or a baseball game).
- Miss Frieda and my ‘Saturday Morning Ritual’ usually includes watching a movie on Hallmark Channel together.
- I am a natural short sleeper, usually in bed by midnight and back awake before 6am (5:40 this morning).
- My best hour of the day is the first one, generally just me, a cup of coffee (2 sugars, no cream) and a wee session with Dr. Phil. 😉
