Have cardstock will paint.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away I had a large roll of white paper, the kind you cover tables with before a church bazaar. My older children and I used to cover the dining room table and paint to our hearts content for hours and hours.

My youngest son, Sam, is quite the artist, so when I saw a posting in my local Buy Nothing group on FB (these are GREAT groups btw… check them out in your area!) for a large roll of card-stock an idea immediately popped into my head.

Long and short of it I am now the happy owner of a 48″ x about 50′ roll of card-stock that is going to give Sam and I many hours of painting / sketching / whatevering fun!

Of course I had to try out the card-stock with a bit of watercolour and felt pen. Surprisingly it holds together better than I expected. The above 11″ x 19″ image is more a medium testing project than any great inspiration but it was fun!

Cheers,
Mark
