Funny, as you get older the bucket list changes and gets shorter… Mine is still way long, like a knitter’s stash it is doubtful I will ever get to the end. But my list is definitely changing. Here’s the latest iteration (in no particular order):
- A front row seat at Albert Hall to hear Anna Lapwood (or maybe in the balcony for better audio effects?)
- A walk on the beach at Oyster Bay with Miss Frieda (feel free to join us!)
- A dozen or two (at least) of my 741 buds around a roaring beach fire (again on VanIsle but I am flexible!)
- Yellow Pelt wearing orange to match his tan
- Finishing ‘K444’ (but there are so many more stories to tell!)
- Retiring some day (but still having way too much fun!)
- Learning at least one First Nations language for wherever I end up (I think this is important so I can better meet people on their terms).
- Getting my anti-virus to stop quarantining my apps (wishful thinking as long as I am on Windows)
- Finding the perfect GF recipe for ‘Death By Chocolate’
- Saying a final ‘goodbye’ to Facebook (already left Twitter / X – just joined Discord)
So there is the latest list… probably next month will be something else on the list… who knows?
Cheers,
Mark
