Each breathtaking moment
oxytocin rich vibrations
coursing through my veins
eyes closed in the embrace
of a beauty deep within
rolling over me warm
and then it is gone
leaving a lingering sweetness
head to toe,
music can do this
the pipes of Wuauquikuna,
Tori Amos,
the departed goddess Sinead
now singing harmony
with Delores amongst the stars,
and simplicity itself,
a small red nose
that peeks past my knee
to steal pretzels
while I talk to execs
1000 miles away,
it is all there
each sense a memory
a joy of the moment
then gone
leaving a lingering sweetness
a reminder that the beauty
is everywhere
if you look, taste, smell
and touch
but mostly know
like a gossamer
butterfly net
if you care you will be
caught up in the beauty.
